Bird watching West Bali National Park

The variety of habitat characteristics in West Bali National Park makes the types of birds that exist are also very varied. This diversity is because West Bali National Park has various types of forest vegetation such as mangrove forests, monsoon forests, savanna forests, lowland rainforests. With several types, the availability of food types and quantities in each vegetation is also different, thus affecting the number of bird species present.

Bird watching in West Bali National Park is an experience that should not be missed. The park is home to over 160 species of birds, including the endangered Bali Starling. The best time to go bird watching is early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the birds are most active.

• Birdwatching 6 hours : Banyuwedang Bay, Tegal Bunder & Salt Pond, spot around 40 bird species
